Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is mandatory health insurance required for all international students on a student visa (subclass 500) in Australia. It helps cover the cost of medical care, hospital visits, prescription medicines, and emergency ambulance services while you study in Australia.
Our system splits your total OSHC premium into daily payments based on your endorsed international card limit (e.g., $300/day). Instead of transferring a large sum at once (which requires extensive bank documentation in Bangladesh), you pay small daily amounts automatically. Once 100% of the total is collected, we purchase your insurance policy and deliver the certificate to your portal.
The standard daily limit is $300 AUD, which matches the typical endorsed international card limit for Bangladeshi students. However, this can be customized you can set a lower limit (e.g., $200/day) or your admin can adjust it based on your bank's endorsement. The system ensures you never exceed your permissible daily limit.
We accept Stripe (international credit/debit cards and endorsed cards) and PayPal (international wallet payments). Both gateways are secure and widely accepted for international transactions. Your daily limit is enforced automatically to prevent overcharging.
Your insurance policy certificate is delivered instantly to your student portal as soon as 100% of the total amount is collected. The system automatically triggers the insurance purchase upon completion of your payment plan. You can then download the official PDF certificate from your Document Center.
Yes. Admin can adjust the default daily threshold globally, or set a custom payment schedule for your specific case. If your bank endorses a different daily limit, contact our support team and we'll update your plan accordingly.
The system automatically retries failed payments up to 3 times. If it continues to fail, our support team is notified and we'll contact you to resolve the issue. You can also open a support ticket from your portal to get real-time help from our support agents.
Once your payment plan is complete and your certificate is delivered, you can activate your OSHC policy by following the instructions provided by your chosen insurer. Typically, you'll receive a membership number and can register on the insurer's portal to access your digital card and claims services.
If you cancel your payment plan before reaching 100%, all payments made up to that point are fully refundable minus any applicable transaction fees. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. Once the insurance policy is purchased (at 100%), refunds follow the insurer's standard refund policy.
